Mr K V Eapen, IAS, Joint Secretary(BA), Department of Financial Services, Ministry of Finance, Government of India is a Government Nominee Director on the Board of IFCI Ltd. His academic qualifications include a M.Sc. (Macro Economic Policy & Planning in Developing Countries) from the University of Bradford, UK, a Masters in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, University of Delhi and a Postgraduate Diploma in Management from MDI, Gurgaon. He is also on the Board of Union Bank of India.
Mr Shilabhadra Banerjee is a Masters in History from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi. He began his career in the Indian Administrative Services in 1971 from the Andhra Pradesh Cadre. In a career spanning over 37 years, he has held several eminent positions including that of Joint Secretary in the Ministries of Petroleum & Natural Gas and Urban Development. He was Director General (Acquisition) in the Ministry of Defence and retired as Secretary, Ministry of Tourism in October 2008. Mr Banerjee spearheaded the infrastructure upgradation at important tourist destinations in India and played a key role in articulating India's response to climate change issues relating to the tourism sector.
He received a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration from the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi in 1992 and an M. Phil degree in Social Sciences from the University of Panjab the same year. Mr. Banerjee has been a Visiting Fellow at the Queen Elizabeth House, University of Oxford, U.K. and the National Institute of Urban Affairs, New Delhi. He is a director on the board of ITC.
