I-FIN, a wholly- owned subsidiary of IFCI, was set up in 1995. Its principal activities involve stock broking, mutual fund distribution & advisory services, and marketing of non-life insurance products.

I-FIN is a member of NSE in all the three segments - Cash Market (CM), Whole Sale Debt Market (WDM) and Futures & Options (F&O) and is today an established and premier brokerage. It caters to many prestigious clients in the financial sector including LIC, UTI, SBI, PNB, BOB, GIC, Oriental Insurance and Canara Bank.

I-FIN has also obtained License from IRDA to operate as Corporate Sales Agent (CSA) for both Life and Non-life Insurance Sectors. In the Non-Life Insurance sector it covers all classes of business - Retail, Commercial, Industrial, Infrastructure as well as all lines of insurance - Property, Fire, Engineering, Marine, Motor, Earthquake and Terrorism.

It is also registered with Association of Mutual Funds in India (AMFI) as a distributor of Mutual Fund products. I-FIN has also been successfully and actively involved in the distribution of IPOs.

I-FIN has also obtained registration from SEBI to operate as a Depository Participant.
